Van Loggerenberg Wines Cabernet Franc 'Breton' Stellenbosch 2023

A lifted, elegant Cabernet Franc with aromas of redcurrant, raspberry, and violets, layered with fresh herbs and a touch of fynbos. Medium-bodied and finely structured, it shows bright acidity, subtle spice, and graphite-like minerality, with a fresh, gently grippy finish.

The producer is a relatively young Stellenbosch-based project, founded in 2016 by Lukas and Roxanne Van Loggerenberg. In a short time, it has gained recognition for low-intervention, site-driven wines that focus on clarity, freshness, and expressing individual vineyard character from some of the Cape’s most regarded sites.
