A high-elevation Chardonnay from Spring Mountain in Napa Valley, shaped by volcanic soils, cool forested slopes, and the quiet, long-standing identity of the School House Vineyard—one of the region’s historic, small-production estates. Founded in the 1950s and still farmed in a hands-on, low-intervention way by the second generation, the estate is known for dry farming and site-expressive wines that favour restraint over excess.

Rich yet composed, it balances ripe orchard fruit with bright acidity and a firm mineral backbone. Lees aging adds a gentle creamy texture, while notes of baking spice, crushed stone, and soft citrus oil bring depth and lift.
