"The 2023 Carignane (Lodi) is heady and boisterous in the glass. Juicy dark red/purplish fruit, lavender, spice, menthol, licorice and espresso are all front and center. The 100% stems add quite a bit of savory nuance. Orange peel, sage, mint, white pepper and sweet pipe tobacco wrap around the juicy finish. This is a very sexy wine." -AG 01/2025
