"Made from 53% Sauvignon Blanc, 37% Vermentino, 7% Viognier, and 3% Semillon, the 2023 Poggio Alle Gazze Dell'Ornellaia pours a medium yellow hue, and its nose is fresh and inviting with aromas of fresh guava, wet stone, tropical flowers, a hint of vanilla, and white grapefruit. Medium to full-bodied, it has a linear feel with refreshing acidity at this early stage, and its graceful perfume lasts long and floats on the finish. This is by far one of the prettiest whites of the region, offering a lot of finesse and pretty character. As it ages, it will flesh out, but it’s just very fresh and inviting right now, with an elegant mineral texture. Drink it over the coming 5-7 years"
