"The 2022 Stellenbosch Cinsault presents intriguing hints of leather, sour plums and cherry skins mingled with notes of red flowers, potpourri and spices. At 11.5% alcohol, this wine is light-bodied with an energetic acidity and carries a slightly wild and feral character on the finish. It's in an interesting spot right now at the intersection of earthy, fruity and spicy. This Cinsault promises a journey to funk town with a "choose your own adventure" experience: open it young for a fresher wine or let it age for deeper, earthier nuances.
