Moritz Kissinger 'Null Ohm' Pinot Noir 2023

A vibrant, low-intervention Pinot Noir from Rheinhessen, made from organically farmed fruit grown on limestone-rich soils around Uelversheim. The vineyards are worked with a focus on soil health and biodiversity, reflecting a hands-on, regenerative approach in the vineyard.

Fermentation is carried out spontaneously with native yeasts, followed by gentle élevage in neutral oak to preserve purity and finesse rather than overt wood influence. The goal is a transparent expression of site and vintage, with minimal intervention in the cellar.

The wine shows a lifted, energetic profile of red cherry, raspberry, and floral notes, with subtle herbal and earthy undertones. Light-bodied yet vivid, it is defined by freshness, fine tannins, and a juicy, unforced drinkability that highlights its natural winemaking style.
