A benchmark Cru Beaujolais from one of the region’s most influential natural winemakers, made entirely from Gamay grown in the Régnié appellation on granite-rich, sandy soils. Old vines rooted deep in decomposed stone bring both concentration and lift while preserving the wine’s signature finesse.
Fermentation is done with native yeasts using a gentle, whole-cluster, semi-carbonic approach, followed by aging in neutral oak to maintain purity rather than imprinting structure from wood. The philosophy is minimal intervention—allowing fruit, site, and vintage to speak clearly.
The result is a lifted, juicy yet structured red defined by red cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberry, with floral tones, crushed stone minerality, and a subtle herbal edge. Light-bodied but precise, it shows fine tannins, bright acidity, and a silky, energetic finish that makes it both immediately drinkable and quietly complex.
