"Dr. Hermann, the Riesling estate in Mosel Valley, Germany has more than 9 hectares of vineyards all managed by Christian Hermann. Winegrowing has been a tradition in the Hermann family for several hundred years. The estate was created in 1967 when the renowned Joh. Jos. Christoffel Erben in Ürzig was divided. In the following years, the vineyards were expanded. The Hermanns specialize in Riesling grown on steep rock slopes. All of their vineyards grow exclusively on old, ungrafted Riesling vines which deliver the most complex regional wines." -Winery notes
