The 2020 Domaine Dubreuil-Fontaine Corton Perrières Grand Cru opens with deep ruby color and aromas of blackberry, cherry, violet, and a hint of forest floor. On the palate it’s powerful yet poised, offering dark fruit wrapped in fine, firm tannins and a stony, mineral edge. The vintage’s early harvest gives it richness without heaviness, and the oak (about 35–40% new) is beautifully integrated. It finishes long and precise, with notes of cherry and blood orange lingering. Still youthful and tight, it will benefit from several more years in the cellar—think elegance with quiet strength, a classic Corton in the making.
