Cortes de Cima 'Chamine' Alentejo Tinto 2021

"The 2021 Chaminé Tinto, produced with Syrah, Touriga Franca, Trincadeira and Alicante Bouschet, is a reinterpretation of their classical wine, looking for more freshness. It fermented in stainless steel with 30% full clusters and the rest uncrushed, with a soft extraction and short maceration. Part of the volume matured in used French barriques for one year and then was kept in stainless steel until bottling. It comes in at 13.4% alcohol and has good freshness. It is intensely herbal and metallic, with a light palate and very fine tannins. 228,600 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2024." -LG, The Wine Advocate 05/15/2025
