"The 2022 Filo Este comes from hilltop vines planted in 1950 on extremely rocky soils. It was fermented with whole clusters and aged for 14 months in well-used 225-liter barrels. Opening with a beautifully spice-driven nose of clove, peppermint and anise, the palate is the most dense and concentrated in the lineup, balancing this richness with a lifted, stony energy that carries through the searingly mineral finish.
