Bosman Family 'Twyfeling' Cinsault 2022

"I have a soft spot for South African Cinsault, and this wine, although perhaps not as aromatic as other bottles out there, does a very nice job of staying simple and pure. The Bosman Family Vineyards 2022 Wellington Twyfeling Cinsault has fruit from bush vines harvested in three phases in order to initiate a pied de cuve natural fermentation. Ten percent of the total is whole-bunch fruit. The wine comes in pretty packaging and offers a fun bouquet of cassis, violet and crushed white pepper to match. It is lean in terms of mouthfeel, and if one thing is certain, this Cinsault has a very sassy side." -ML, The Wine Advocate 06/2025
