"96 Points. This superb wine shows prominent ripe apple fruit aromas along with the expected Bâtard spice and fat, butter and honey. Still, there is also a superb finesse and an elegance that is somewhat un-Bâtard-like. The texture is lighter than most wines from this appellation, and yet the wine lingers persistently on the finish. The grapes come from Alivina's share of the Pernot family's 0.61ha in Bâtard, where they have two parcels in Chassagne and two in Puligny. This wine is undeniably delicious now, but it will continue to improve for the next 30 years." Decanter
