Crafted by Eric Bordelet, Poiré Authentique is a refined, gently sparkling perry (pear cider) from Normandy. The fruit comes from more than a dozen traditional pear varieties, grown on ancient orchards of schist- and granite-based soils, using organic and biodynamic practices. It offers bright, aromatic pear notes—ripe yet fresh—with delicate bubbles, a slight sweetness balanced by crisp acidity, and a clean, lightly mineral finish. It’s dry enough to feel elegant yet expressive enough to showcase the fruit, making it perfect as an aperitif or paired with seafood, chèvre, or light dishes.
