Susana Esteban Alentejano Tira O Veu 2022

"The 2022 Tira o Véu was vinified in amphorae with 30% of the skins, which were in contact with the wine until December, and aged in those amphorae under a veil of yeast that appeared spontaneously in the spring. It has a very shy nose that is quite muted, and the effect of the flor is very mild. It has the serious and austere profile of the whites here, with dry herbs and a balsamic, Mediterranean touch. It has a medium-bodied palate and comes in at 12.5% alcohol, with a pH of 3.34 and 5.7 grams of acidity. It is somewhat fresher and livelier than the wine from 2021 and has a bitter twist in the finish that brings back some flavors from the oak. 2,669 bottles produced.
