Chateau Carbonnieux La Croix de Carbonnieux Pessac-Leognan 2019

"Composed of around 65% Sauvignon Blanc and 35% Semillon, the 2019 Croix de Carbonnieux Blanc is aging in French oak barrels, 25% new, for around nine months, with lees stirring. Subtle hints of lemonade, lime cordial and fresh grapefruit open the nose, followed by suggestions of baking bread, nutmeg and sage. Light to medium-bodied, the palate is clean and refreshing with good intensity and plenty of poise, if a little straightforward." -LPB, The Wine Advocate 06/2020
