Clos Cibonne Tibouren Côtes de Provence Cuvée Spéciale des Vignettes Rosé 2023

Savory nose mixed garden fresh strawberry, pork cracklings, oregano, raspberry jam, and creamy custard. The palate pops with pith and fresh red fruit which just zings around the mouth. But the real star of the show is the texture. It is melted butter. It coats the mouth. It satisfies in a way Rose shouldn’t. Sticks to the ribs is the expression but how it does this while still being a pretty Provencal Rose is rare and wonderful.--JT Robertson
