Dear Friends and Wine Lovers,
Wine Of The Week - Dettori "Tuderi" 2003 - Cannonau
When we poured the Dettori "Tuderi" Cannonau at our Southern Italian tasting two Saturdays ago we were thrilled that everybody loved the wine as much as we did. It
only took one sip and at the end of the day an obscure wine from an unknown Sardinian producer sold out.
The Dettori vineyards are located on 33 acres in the north of Sardinia where they grow wheat, vegetables, fruit and olives
besides grapes. Alessandro Dettori believes in minimal handling, no enzymes
and no wood. He places the emphasis on getting the cleanest, purest and most precise fruit flavors possible. If you love fresh berries, wild cherries and a delightful hint
of spice, this wine will impress with a certified "wow" factor. Pour it for your friends and we guarantee they will go... "wow!"

Olivier Humbrecht at Le Dû's Wines
Free In-store Tasting
Saturday January 27th 4-6pm
We are thrilled to announce an exclusive in-store wine tasting with one of the true superstars of the wine world, Olivier Humbrecht. Olivier, the acknowledged master of
Alsatian wine, is in town to receive the "Winemaker of the Year" award from Wine Enthusiast Magazine. We are delighted that he has found the time to make just one
other public appearance and share his wines with the discerning customers of Le Dû's Wines.
Robert Parker has written that "...he may be the finest wine maker in the world..." and has honored him with four 100 point wines,
fourteen 99 pointers, sixteen 98 pointers... we could go, on but you get the point! The man has serious skills, creating some of the most expressive, lush, extroverted,
powerhouse whites you will ever lay your palate on. There are many talented winemakers in the world, but none work with such a remarkable number of grape varietals,
from as wide a variety of sites while making a superlative wine from each one.
He has been called one of "The Most Influential Wine Personalities of the Last 20 Years" by The Wine Advocate and was the very
first French Master of Wine. His dedication to quality and detail is legendary and he remains one of the leading advocates of biodynamic winemaking.
This is a rare and unique opportunity to sample some of the greatest white wine in the world... only from your friends at Le Dû's
We hope to see you here...
Jean-Luc Le Dû.
