Dear Friends and Wine Lovers,
Syrah Week continues at Le Dû's Wines with our new favorite "value" wine and a fabulous free tasting featuring the world's
greatest Syrah from Hermitage and Cornas.
Wine of the week
Domaine Des Terres Falmet - Saint Chinian 2003 - Syrah/Grenache
We're always on the search for the perfect "everyday" wine... the inexpensive, multi-purpose bottle that can handle any situation thrown at it.
For the past few weeks we've been drinking the Domaine Des Terres Falmet, a small production gem consisting of 45% Syrah,
35% Grenache, 10% Carignan, and 10% Cinsault. It is classically styled with a great depth that unfolds with new aromas and flavors every time you try it. It opens
with crushed violets, spice and a beautiful hint of lavender followed by flavors of dark chocolate silkiness, crushed blackberries and a perfect complement of tobacco.
Every sip will transport you to Yves Falmet's farmhouse in the spectacular mountainous terrain of Saint Chinian. We also recommend that you allow a good 25 minutes
for this wine to breathe after uncorking to truly come alive.
You're not going to find this in any other store because we bought every bottle in the country!
On the shelf it goes for $15.99 but our internet special is...
10% off for six bottles - $14.39 per bottle.
15% off for six bottles - $13.59 per bottle.
