Dear Friends and Wine Lovers,
Summer’s here, so it’s the perfect time to enjoy lighter wines and simple Roses. We’re getting closer to our 1st
Anniversary (Make sure to save the September 16th date as we’re planning a great party to celebrate!). I would like to take the opportunity
to thank all our customers for supporting us in our first few months. It’s been wonderful to meet all of you either in person or on the phone and
share with you our passion for wine. 2006 has been filled with great wines and events at Le Du’s Wines, from our Wednesday wine seminars
(Jayson Woodbridge owner of Hundred Acre and Gold in Napa Valley actually showed up during our “Terroirs of Napa” tasting!) to our monthly
wine dinners (I can still taste the Palmer 1990 from our last event at BLT Prime).
Check our Tastings & Events page for upcoming happenings at Le Du’s Wines. We’re also planning a new series
of dinners for the Fall and are firming up dates with two of the World’s best wine estates and New York’s greatest restaurants. Register for our
newsletter to get the advance word.
This has also been an exciting year in wine with the release of the 2005 Bordeaux Futures. I toured Bordeaux in
late March of this year and was very knocked out by the quality of the vintage. You will be able to find my
